Invitation

The EITA New Media and New Digital Ventures 2020 (The 2020 EITA Conference on New Media and New Digital Ventures) will be held virtually. The theme of the EITA-New Media and New Digital Ventures 2020 is "The Rise of the New Digital Economy: Trends, Opportunities and Challenges". 

This conference aims at exploring the new digital economy, understood as the new and emerging forms of production, work, consumption, distribution, and finance ushered in by the diffusion of emerging Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). From the way we work, to the way we consume and pay for products and services, to the rise of new platforms for consumption and collaboration, the economic field is being revolutionised by new digital media. This half day workshop brings together the brightest and most experienced experts in the fields for an immersive half-day of learning, discussion, and connection. 

The main objectives of the EITA-New Media and New Digital Ventures 2020 are:

  • to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in "New Media, Emerging ICT Technologies, and The New Digital Economy.
  • to provide opportunities for the venture community to discuss, understand and evaluate the state-of-the art in cutting edge business and technology solutions. 
  • to bring together emerging and established entrepreneurs, current industry leaders, and policymakers to discuss innovation and disruption over the next decade. 


We invite world class perspectives from research, entrepreneurship, investing, and business transformation, and the workshop aims to capture the deepest insights available within in the New Media and New Digital Economy ecosystem today. We would also invite you to submit proposals (invited talks only) for papers, panels, demonstrations, and SIG discussions. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer-reviewed for inclusion in the conference program and the electronic proceedings.

The EITA-New Media and New Digital 2020 is a perfect virtual event platform for researchers, scientists, and delegates to share experience, foster collaborations across industry and academia, and evaluate emerging technologies across the globe.

  

Workshops

The EITA-New Media and New Digital Ventures 2020 consists of following four parallel workshops and student poster competition: 

 

  • Workshop 1 (W1): Emerging Telecom Technologies (IoT, SD-WAN, Fog/Edge Computing, Distributed Cloud, and Human Intranet, VR/AR, etc.), Future Networks for Wireless 5G and Beyond, Quantum Computing and Communications
  • Workshop 2 (W2): Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems and Machine Learning, Digital Disruption and The Digital Platforms of the Future
  • Workshop 3 (W3): Unleash the Power of Data: Building the Data-Driven Future, Competing on Analytics, Digital Transformation, and Moving to a Modern Data Architecture
  • Workshop 4 (W4): Fintech, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, The Next Generation Internet, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics (General, Offensive, Defensive, and Machine Learning)
  • Student Poster Competition

 

Possible Workshop Topics

The EITA-New Media and New Digital Ventures 2020 is structured around a number of sub-themes that include but are not limited to, the following topics:

 

 

as they relate to the research and development aspects of emerging technologies that will disrupt existing marketplaces and financial services, etc.. The long lists are not meant to be all-inclusive. Rather, they should be used to stimulate and encourage other ideas and possibilities.

Proceedings

All paper submissions must be written in English and will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings (electronic formats) as well as on the EITA-New Media and New Digital Ventures 2020 website. You may download the Proceedings through the Internet. These proceedings serve as major sources in the global high-tech community, reflecting the current state of the art in the disciplines.
