The First Annual EITC Workshop on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Research (EITC-Bio 2008) will be held at the Friend Center, Princeton University on June 7, 2008.  Following the Bioinformatics track of the Emerging Information and Technology Conference (last year's program available at http://eitc2007.xwiki.com/xwiki/bin/download/Main/Program1/prog_07.pdf), EITC-Bio focuses on the current research and development frontiers in both academia and industry.  This year we will invite leading scientists to present and discuss how the synergy of bioinformatics and biomedical science may further our understandings in biology and medicine, and faciliate our combat against diseases.  The full-day event covers latest advances in various topics including computational biology, systems biology, cancer, immunology, and high-throughput screening.

POSTER SUBMISSIONS

Please submit your title, abstract, (no more than 300 words) and the bio of the main presenter using the abstract template by email to lswang@mail.med.upenn.edu.  The poster title and abstract will be included in the workshop proceedings, which will be made online available publicly before the meeting.
