Intellectual Property

- Overview
The rapid development of technology and the growing interconnectivity brought about by the Internet have increased the value and importance of intellectual property rights to all businesses, while also making it easier to infringe on those rights.
Today, intellectual property considerations are no longer limited to technology-focused companies; intellectual property rights are now important to every company. It is critical that all businesses account for, maintain, and enforce their intellectual property rights while avoiding infringement on the rights of others.
These considerations are not limited to for-profit entities. Nonprofit organizations (NPOs) have similar assets and potential liabilities.
