AI Models
- Overview
AI models, or artificial intelligence models, are computer programs that use algorithms and data sets to recognize patterns and make decisions. They can be used for a variety of tasks, including:
- Image and video recognition
- Natural language processing (NLP)
- Anomaly detection
- Recommender systems
- Predictive modeling and forecasting
- Robotics and control systems
AI models are trained using data, and can be used to make predictions or act on data that was not previously observed. There are several ways that AI models can be trained, including:
- Supervised learning: The model is trained on labeled data, and told what the desired output is.
- Unsupervised learning: The model is not given access to labeled data, and instead identifies patterns and connections within the data on its own.
- Reinforcement learning: The model learns to make decisions by interacting with its environment, receiving feedback in the form of rewards and penalties.
AI models are particularly well suited to solving complex problems, and can provide higher efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings than simpler methods.
