- The Counter-Drone Systems

The U.S. military uses a variety of counter-drone systems to detect and stop drones. These systems include:

  • Radars and rockets on vehicles
  • Handheld jammers that make drones fall from the sky
  • Camera systems
  • Specialist drone detection radar
  • Net guns
  • Cyber takeover systems

The U.S. Army's LIDS system includes the KuRFS radar and Coyote® effector, which can detect and defeat drones. The Pentagon's counter-drone office also has an electronic warfare capability called BlueHalo's Titan.

Other weapons that can be used against drones include:

  • Anti-drone rifles, which allow you to control drones remotely without damaging them
  • Laser guns, which can be used as non-lethal weapons
  • DroneGun Tactical, which can be used against a wide range of drone threats
