- The EU's Minimum IoT Security Requirements
Starting in 2024, the European Commission has introduced minimum requirements for the security of IoT products, i.e. smart devices. If these standards are not met, the product will be banned from the EU market. The European Union's cybersecurity requirements for consumer products have been introduced as a supplement to the European Union's Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
