"Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people."

Today A Reader. Tomorrow A Leader.

- Welcome to the EITA Outreach (Readers) Forum

To begin participating in the forum, you must first register (create a Linkedin connection) to become an EITA Outreach (Readers) forum member. Once your membership has been approved (a Linkedin connection is established), you can start to post your new research articles relevant to the EITA forum topics, or to help others by posting comments on their research topics throughout the Linkedin application process. While the Outreach administrators will review and re-post (relay) your topics to the entire Outreach forum members (EITC Linkedin network) as time permits, we are hoping that users will share their knowledge and lend a hand.

The EITA is committed to bringing young scientists and engineers together to discuss their current research and build informal networks with their peers that may lead to a lifetime of collaboration and scientific achievement. To that end, the EITA has established an EITA-YIC forum, a series of (public, private, and virtual) meetings organized by graduate (PhD) students, post-docs, and young college faculty members with the support of distinguished scientists and engineers of the EITA team members worldwide. We encourage greater participation of young investigators in the EITA Outreach (Readers) forum.

The EITA advances the conversation around critical issues facing the U.S. and the world, gathering thousands of global leading thinkers to share the latest research and explore new ideas and solutions. Our mission is to engage professionals in the world of sciences, engineering and medicine, by igniting their natural curiosity and cultivating a commitment to lifelong learning, discovery and invention.

- Forum Guidelines

We're all volunteering our time when posting topics (articles) in this readers forum so ensure that you are posting the topics (articles) that you've already taken the time to investigate yourself. In addition, respectful and inclusive communication is expected. Posts that are offensive (sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic) will be removed.

DISAGREEMENTS ARE FINE, DISRESPECT IS NOT.

- The Researcher to Reader Conference

Research -> Write -> Review -> Publish -> Distribute -> Read.

- Great Opportunities for Professional Growth

It's the popular catchphrase, "it's who you know, not what you know," that rings true in daily life. Who you know might matter more--or at least, be just as important as what you know in getting professional opportunities.
